We started off as two moms from the Pacific Northwest who noticed that whenever groups of women got together, information was shared and problems solved.  We believed that what worked in a group of four or five would be so much more powerful if large numbers of women were connected with each other.  We tested this belief and found that the impact women were able to make on each others lives in a short amount of time was staggering.  We were so excited by witnessing this force that we couldn't wait to begin the journey of bringing this power to every woman who wanted to share in it. How we make this happen is through the phenomena we call "Experience as Currency."

That can be overwhelming and most of it may not be pertinent. Your girlfriends on WomenHelpingWomen can help you investigate the topic from a personal standpoint. We have women who have had breast cancer and can tell you about their experiences, they may be doctors who have performed the surgeries, mammographers who can tell you about annual checkups, we have women who have thought about the different options and decided what path to take that was best for them and they can share their views with you.
